Rights Care Foundation is India's most trusted human rights organisation, providing free legal aid, constitutional rights education, and complaint redressal to citizens across all 28 states. We are a Section 8 non-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, headquartered in New Delhi.

Our network of over 500+ empanelled professionals — retired judges, former IAS and IPS officers, senior advocates, medical experts, and RTI activists — works pro bono to deliver justice to those who need it most. Since inception, we have resolved 2,800+ complaints with a 94% resolution rate.

If your fundamental rights have been violated — by a police officer, government official, employer, or institution — Rights Care Foundation is your constitutional counterweight. We file cases before the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), State Human Rights Commissions, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India.

We assist citizens with RTI applications under the Right to Information Act, 2005; domestic violence complaints under PWDVA, 2005; labour rights complaints under the EPF Act and Contract Labour Act; and SC/ST atrocity complaints under the Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989.

We protect the constitutional rights of every Indian citizen through free legal aid, complaint redressal, RTI support, and a network of over 500 empanelled advocates, retired IAS officers, retired judges, and social leaders operating across all 28 states.

What kinds of rights violations does Rights Care Foundation handle?

We handle all categories of human rights violations in India: police misconduct and illegal arrest, labour rights and wage theft, domestic violence and women's rights, right to information (RTI) denials, land and property rights, child rights (POCSO), caste discrimination and SC-ST atrocities, consumer rights, healthcare rights, corruption, and any violation of Fundamental Rights under the Constitution of India.

Is the service free for complainants?

Yes. All services — complaint filing, case assessment, legal guidance, and follow-up — are provided completely free of charge to citizens. Rights Care Foundation is funded entirely through donations and volunteer support. We never charge citizens for accessing justice.
